The internet and social media is such a powerful tool. I turn to it all the time for reviews, recommendations, likes, comments, advice, feedback and generally helping me make decisions about everything and anything.
When we decided that a knock-down / re-build was the best option for us regarding our future home, the first thing we did was visit as many displays as possible, collecting as much information as we could along the way.
We decided to use a volume builder rather than architect/builder or owner builder partly to meet a budget and partly to streamline as much of the process as possible. We then shortlisted some houses (floor plan and facade) from various different builders and embarked on a process of comparison and then elimination.
Carter Grange Homes was one of these builders and their Hyatt 38 boasts an excellent and highly functional floor plan. Their Hyatt display at Cranbourne West showcases a modern facade. The Hebel finish and large street front windows give it awesome street appeal, but it's the internal space and clever use of space inside that sold us, particularly the upstairs design, perfect for a family with growing children (that's our family!).
I'm writing this blog to detail our experience as a client of Carter Grange. After looking very, very closely at 3 other builders, we have chosen Carter Grange to build our home for a number of reasons (not solely the floor plan and facade of the Hyatt 38) and we truly hope this blog provides a great product review and becomes an amazing testimonial to their company vision - to create the ultimate in affordable luxury with an unrivaled commitment to customer service. To date, we can see no reason why this promise won't be delivered.
The staff including upper level management have been accessible, flexible, professional and very willing to listen and work with us. There has been plenty of good communication up to this point, compromises here and there, promises regarding the build which I trust will be honoured and a general feeling that these guys do things differently and really do care that they have been entrusted with building your dream and your future, which is certainly a massive responsibility.
That said, I can tell you that today we have signed off on our tender and paid our deposit to Carter Grange so that they can start the process of building a home for us to live in for many years to come. I am looking forward to the process and I am committed to sharing our experience at each step in the process so that you can make a better, more informed decision regarding one of the most important decisions in your life - who to choose to build the home of your dreams and why. Happy reading!!!
